Eric & I go wayyy back. About 7 years ago, my husband and I moved states for our job and we landed in Edwardsville, Illinois. We were new to the town, the people, the community, everything. We were lucky enough to have a couple of dear friends that we loved move as well, and Eric was one of them. He lived right next door to us in our little apartment. We would spend hours watching The Office, making dinners together, and walking to go get $5 pizzas together. We had such a great friend in Eric.
Fast forward a few years later, and Eric had begun mentioning this girl he met at Crossfit–Julia. It was less than a year later, they were dating, engaged, and then married. They are one of the sweetest, thoughtful, and loving couples I know. Eric asked me to shoot an Anniversary Session as a surprise for Julia, and we went to these beautiful gems in Alton, Illinois to capture their pictures.
